INTERESTING FACT

Is This The Last Pope?

St. Malachy, (d. 1148) Irish Bishop and Seer, produced an accurate list of future popes which began with Pope Celestine II in the year 1143.
The prophecy is concerned with the succession of the Popes and there will be one more Pope after the current Pope Benedict XVI according to the prophecies of St. Malachy.

I do not understand why everybody is speculating about the end of the world, end of civilizations.

It's exactly this kind of paranoia that are making people all over the world acting the way we are. Opposing religion and everything else.
Faith is a way of living an inspiration to guide you through what is right and wrong.
Faith not in god or anything else but in "good things" itself brings you closer to god!
Because you dont question him, the religion or the acts of others to justify your faith.
You do what is right with the moral rules that you were thought.
That's it. Life is that simple. We complicate things for no reasons, and that's why we are living the way we are!
Power and control is only separating us not helping us

This world as we know it will come to an end, the bible says so. Sin and evil can not go on forever. The bible also says there will be a new heaven and new earth(heaven meaning sky here, not God's kingdom) We all know the Pope is the anti-Christ by the signs specified in the books of Daniel and Revelation. BTW be looking out for the National Sunday Law, this will indicate that this era is very near to an end. Oh and Saturday is the true Sabbath-the Pope "thought" to change it to sunday (Daniel 7:25, "he will think to change times and laws") you can google it but the best evidence is found right in the Bible

Absolutely, I agree. The Bible uses the term "end of the age" not "end of the world", meaning life on earth continues even though systems and governments come down. Anyone can see we are at the beginning of a huge and rapid period of change.

CORRECTION: Actually, it depends on which translation of the Bible you use. The "end of this world" appears in Matthew 24 in the King James Version but world is translated from the word Aion which means age or dispensation of time.

Our cultures have been at war with one another since the beginning of time. I'm sure that after these bouts of population control, unsure how many there will be, we will all live our lives differently.

Perhaps it will be sometime in 2012. Maybe later than that.

Whatever it all means, I'm apt to be more optimistic and see the glass as half full. :)

Have a great day.

Regarding to my comment dated June the 27, the first paragraph is not mine. Someone must have added that, because I do believe in God, and any religion has its own God but you call it with different names but the essence is pratically the same: Do good for others.

Well what if he just ran out of time, got tired of it or just stopped. I mean he had to stop at some point. Is it that the list ended OR that he said this is the final name I have to put on the list? Small detail. Big difference.

"You cant see it with your naked eye, but sure you can see the effects of electricity all over the world." actually i can see electricity, it can jump between objects and be seen in lightning. i can see the effects of religion as well and the rape murder and torture that humanity has endured in the name of your imaginary friend is, quite frankly, ****ing annoying. and thats not to mention the condecending, arrogant hypocrisy that follows religion around like the plague. we really cannot call ourselves civilised until we throw off the shackles of religion.

there is no such thing as god, he is completely made up, and the world would be a much better place without religion AND there is no such thing as god, he is completely made up, and the world would be a much better place without religion.
ANY civilization in past big or small had ALWAYS religion; we need it especially when we are in trouble. A sailor doesnt think about God until his ship is sinking in the high seas. God is present everywhere although you cant see it personally; it is like electricity: You cant see it with your naked eye, but sure you can see the effects of electricity all over the world.

Retarded is spelled with a d not "retarted".
I did not say 0 AD. I said 1800 AD.
I did not say there were not people before Christ.

Are you retarted? There were people before christ also there's no such thing as year 0 AD.

I really hope it will be the end of "popes", it won't mark the end of true Christianity, just the end of a false, heresy religion with satan as its core.

Does this have any coincidence with the 2012 prophecies of end of days from diferent civilizations?

I believe it does. I did a research paper on 2012 once and this was included.

Wouldn't worry too much about the world ending ..people's worlds everyday just crossing the street, when no one expects it. If you do the right thing and don't be an ass to the other people, now and again go the extra mile for someone else for no reason..give thanks and sleep well :-)

What will happen when the Last Pope dies?

There were only 111 popes in the original Malachy prophecy. That means that Benedict is the last pope in Malachy's prophecy. By the way, his prophecy does not give us any clue as to what will happen after the 111th pope. Someone else appears to have added the 112th pope and the statements about the end of Rome.
THIS WAS NOT A PART OF MALACHY'S PROPHECY AND WAS ADDED IN THE 19TH CENTURY.

So it is important to note that Malachy said nothing about the end of the world or the end of Rome.

But here are some interesting facts:
1. God said to multiply and fill the earth. From the year 0 to 1800 AD we went from 2 people to 1 billion people. From the year 1800 to 1960 we went from 1 billion to 3 billion people. From the year 1960 to the year 2005 we went from 3 billion to 7 billion people. That curve should provide a clue although no one knows for sure how full God meant for the earth to be "full". But its happening fast.

2. The ecosystems of the earth are deteriorating and man cannot stop it. It is logical to assume that God put enough resources here to sustain this full population and that the biological systems are enough to sustain man. Therefore if we can see widespread evidence of their deterioration it provides an obvious clue.

So I say make yourself ready and make sure you are like the virgin who was prepared with oil in their lamp because the day of the Lord will come with a bang.

I doubt that this pope theory will play out by 2012, Benedict and the next pope could conceivably last 50-60 years from now. And who's to say that it will be the end of the world, its more likely to be end of the Catholic Church due to another schism stemming from the election of the next pope.
