Dogs Head Lives Without Body

In 1940 Dr. S.S. Bryukhonenko at the Institute of Experimental Physiology and Therapy, Voronezh, U.S.S.R conducted research where he experimented with dogs and proved that dogs head can live without its body for three days. Special artificial conditions were created to power the head with arterial and venous pumps. Dog's isolated head reacted to all basic external stimulants: light, sound, pain and taste. This disturbing Russian experiment helped scientist around the world to create artificial organs that are used by many medical institutes. More recently Dr. Robert White of Ohio claims that he transplanted a monkey's head onto another monkey's body. Why complain about it? These sort of test where and are still nessacery. The average human life expectanty used to be about 45 years old, so without these experiments on animals you probly would have died from the common cold when you where a child because you would not of received your medicine that had been tried and tested on animals or you would not have received your life saving heart transplant because no one experimented like the above video. Medical testing on animals is why we now live so long! Why criticise it?

This is coming from an avid animal lover who’s been working with animals all his life.

ok that is the fakest thing i ever saw, without tendons connecting your head and neck together you wouldnt be able to move your head at all what so ever, and clearly that dog in the video moves his head when the hammer is striking the table, although, I don't doubt that this experiment actually took place, stalin had a whole crew of scientists in the U.S.S.R who's jobs where to do these crazy experiments.

The head of an animal doesn't fucking need any nutrients. The body would be more relient on that.

This is real. i do not see why do not think it is. ignoring crulety does not prevent it. I do, howvever beleive that this experement had some cause, for it helped create vital artificail organs which, in turn, have saved many human lives. All you people posting about "the people who think this is real should die" are no better than the conductors of this experiment.
